Hot Springs, Arkansas

There’s no doubt that visitors come to Hot Springs, Arkansas for the hot springs and Bathhouse Row is typically where they immediately go. Boathouse Row is a national historic landmark district located within Hot Springs National Park. It has a selection of eight bathhouses: Buckstaff, Fordyce, Hale, Maurice Ozark, Quapaw, and Superior. Quapaw Baths & Spa is one of the most popular ones with its thermal pools, steam cave, and get a selection of massage treatments.  A visit to the steam cave runs at $10 per 20-minute interval and fits up to six people.

In addition to the hot springs, the city also has an interesting history tied to organized crime. What is now one of the best American hot spring cities was once a hangout for infamous mobsters such as Al Capone and Bugs Moran. Visitors interested in learning more can visit the Gangster Museum of America and learn more about its infamous past. Admission prices begin at $6.
