While the near-by town of Turnhout is quite interesting to visit.  There are several good places to take your camper rental from Brussels into the countryside.  In the Belgian Ardennes region you could try Camping de la Semois, which is prettily positioned on the banks of the Semois river and is a great campsite for a relaxing riverside holiday.
